Rare Potamac Cover

This is a nice example of a rare cover from the USS Potomac one of the early Presidential Yachts. The “Floating White House” was originally commissioned the USCG Cutter Electra in 1934. In 1936 it was renamed in 1945.the USS Potomac and served as Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Presidential Yacht until his death. The photo of the ship and of FDR on the ship are for historical reference only. $20.00

Williamsburg Presidential Yacht Ashtray

This is a very rare Nickel Plated Ashtrays from the USS Williamsburg one of the early Presidential Yachts.

On November 5, 1945, she relieved Potomac as presidential yacht. In the ensuing years, The USS Williamsburg served two presidents, Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

This is an original items from the Ship. The ashtray is in excellent condition for it s 70+ years on earth or sea as it may be. The photo of the ship and of Truman on the ship and of Truman's Desk are for historical reference only.

These ashtrays were made for both The USS Williamsburg and the USS Sequoia both of witch were used as Presidential Yachts. What makes these ashtrays of particular historical interest is not only were they used on a official Presidential yacht during the Terms of Several Presidents but Truman actual kept one of the "USS Williamsburg" and the matching "USS Sequoia" round nickel plated ashtrays on his desk in The Oval office. You can now see them displayed at the Truman Library's replica of President Truman's Oval Office. Now you can own a piece of history that not only might have been used by both President Truman and President Eisenhower and their guests. Also you can own one of the same kind of keepsake that meant enough to President Truman to take with him to The Oval Office and it was thought important enough by political historians to put them up for public display at Truman's Presidential Library

In the last 2 photos I have added you can see both the round nickel plated Williamsburg ashtray as the matching Sequoia astray recorded as being on Truman's desk while he was President.

Kennedy era USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht Certificate

This is a very nice official cruise certificate for the Presidential Yacht The USS Sequoia. These were presented to guest of President Kennedy that cruised with him aboard The Presidential Yacht The USS Sequoia. The most famous Presidential yacht in history and used by more seating president than any other Presidential Yacht. Rare Kennedy era USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht unused Matchbook

This is a great unstruck matchbook from The USS Sequoia, the most famous of all Presidential Yachts. These matchbooks are older front strike matchbooks without the "USS" in front of the Name Sequoia. These were among the earliest version iof the Sequoia matchbooks and used during President Kennedy's administration. The matchbook is in overall very good condition for its age please see photos. Rare Honey Fitz Matchbook Kennedy Presidential Yacht

This is a very rare and hard to find surviving matchbook from The Honey perhaps the Presidential Yacht most associated with President Kennedy. President Kennedy renamed Eisenhower's Presidential Yacht from Barbara Ann to Honey Fitz after his beloved maternal grandfather and it woul later be renamed again by President Nixon to Patricia. Kennedy was said to have loved the Honey Fitz and used it often while President. Many people know about the Honey Fitz and its service as JFK's Presidential yacht but what many people don't know is it was one of three Presidential Yacht in service with The Kennedy White House, Honey Fitz Patrick J. and Sequoia. This matchbook is complete and unstruck and in very good condition for its age. The first 4 photos show a detailed photo of the actual matchbook from all sides. The last photo is for reference only and it shows one of these Honey Fitz matchbooks that was for sale in the Guernsey's JFK Robert White collections world famous Kennedy auction.

Much like President Kennedy renamed The Lenore II The Honey Fitz he also renamed the Presidential Yacht original named Margie The Patrick J. after is paternal Grandfather. President Kennedy had The Patrick J, moved to Hyannis Port, Massachusetts for Presidential service while he was in office. Nixon latter renamed The Patric J. The Julie. This matchbook is in fantastic condition and unused. The official matchbook for the Honey Fitz looked exactly the same except the Name Patrick J was replaced by The Honey Fitz.

Very Rare Set of Presidential Matchbooks Both Ship Names

This is a set of 2 differant matchbooks for the same Presidential Yacht that severed several presidents begging with Truman and ending with Nixon. This Yacht went through 3 name changes while in Presidential service first President Truman Named her Margie in honor of President Truman's daughter. Ike then renamed her the Susie E in honor of one of his granddaughters. Then the ship is most famously known as the Patric J. when President Kennedy had her renamed the Patric J after his Paternal Grandfather. LBJ never bothered to rename her as he preferred to use the larger Presidential Yacht The USS Sequoia. She was last used by President Nixon when he renamed her Julie after his daughter. He then moved her to Key Biscayne where President Nixon retained his winter vacation retreat. This set include two full book of matches in excellent condition from this amazing yacht. One from it's service under President Kennedy and One from it's last Presidential Service under President Nixon who latter sold her.

President Nixon renamed Kennedy's Presidential yacht The Patrick J. to The Julie after his daughter. This matchbook is in fantastic condition. He then moved her to Key Biscayne where President Nixon retained his winter vacation retreat. President Nixon who latter sold her president Nixon later sold her becoming the last President to use her as President.
